A Nigerian man and his Filipina wife has been arrested and disgraced after they were caught selling illicit drugs.

The director of the Manila Police District (MPD) said on Sunday they have been looking for the source of the illegal drugs of a Nigerian national and his wife who were arrested for allegedly selling shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in Tondo last Saturday.
Chief Supt. Rolando Nana identified them as Onyinyechekwu John Aneke, 36, and Lorena Ang Aneke, 33.
They were arrested in a buy-bust operation about 5 p.m. on Saturday in Balut, Tondo, and were set to be charged for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
Nana said during the buy-bust operation, the couple gave undercover cops a brown container carrying the label of the anti-acne brand, Formula AA Arch, for P5,500. When checked, the brown circular container contained a transparent zip lock.
The zip lock, Nana added, contained a plastic sachet that contained a white crystalline substance or suspected shabu.
The P5,500 marked money authorities used to buy the cream was confiscated.
Nana said operatives of the MPD’s anti illegal drug division also recovered a box containing 16 units of the same brown and round cream container.
Nana said they were still estimating the amount of drugs seized from the operation pending the result of the crime laboratory examination.
