President Muhammadu Buhari, has appointed Colonel Hamidu Ali as his Chief of Staff.
President Muhammadu Buhari has today, Monday June 29, 2015 appointed Colonel Hamidu Ali (rtd) his Chief of Staff.
Ali, was a former Military Administrator of Kaduna State and worked with the president as Chief of Staff during the last electioneering campaign and was also with him during his stay at the Defence Guest House.
The president is said to be satisfied with his military background, antecedents, modest lifestyle and anti-corruption profile, and he is convinced Col. Ali would do well in that office.
It can be recalled that some weeks ago, it was widely believed that the immediate past governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, might be picked for the position.
