Juliana Olayode, the Nollywood actress, has addressed the rumour swirling about her within the entertainment industry.

In a video shared on her Instagram page on February 5, 2026, the actress said she usually ignores online talk but felt pushed to speak after recent stories affected her emotionally.

She described the rumours as harmful and questioned why people choose to spread untrue stories about others.

Juliana, who became popular for her role as Toyosi, also known as Toyo Baby, in the television series Jenifa’s Diary, is also known for openly talking about her Christian faith and how it guides her lifestyle and career decisions.

Addressing the rumours, she made it clear that she has no issue working with anyone in the film industry.

According to her, she is willing to collaborate with any producer or director as long as the script and her character do not go against her personal beliefs.

She also restated her position on intimate scenes, explaining that she does not kiss in movies because of her faith.

She added that while people are free to dislike her, judge her acting, or choose not to work with her, spreading lies about her is wrong and painful.

Juliana said that her boundaries on screen are not new, as she has previously turned down roles that clash with her values.

She explained that her beliefs have continued to guide the type of projects she accepts in her acting career.

She said: “So I want to clear the air. There is absolutely NO producer or director I cannot work with. None. I am open and willing to work with anyone, as long as the story and my role do not go against my consecration to God.”

“It is true that I wouldn’t kiss in movies.”

“It’s okay if you don’t like me. It’s okay if you say I’m not a good actor; it’s okay if you don’t want to work with me. But lying about me is deeply wrong and hurtful.”
