Vocal Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo has parted ways with the leading opposition party in Nigeria, PDP, for undisclosed reasons.
It was with a heavy heart over the weekend, Saturday, 4th June, 2016, that the Nollywood star turned Politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, resigned his membership of his former party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
In a handwritten resignation letter to the Chairman of Nkpunano ward, Ken cited personal reasons for his resignation.
The news was announced by Supreme TV. Okonkwo's direction is currently unknown but rumours have it that his greener pasture may not be far from the ruling All Progressives Congress for political advantage.
Efforts to reach Kenneth Okonkwo to hear from the horse's mouth regarding the membership resignation failed as at press time.
