A shocking incident has led to the death of a vibrant Applied Biochemistry student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
Julius Alagwu was allegedly stabbed to death over a girl
A man has been stabbed to death by his brother over a girlfriend in Awka, Anambra State. The dead brother identified as Julius Alagwu was a student of Applied Biochemistry at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka (UNIZIK). He was stabbed to death by his brother during a fight over his girlfriend on Tuesday.
It was gathered that the victim who was a final year part-time student was said to have found out his brother was also dating his girlfriend. He confronted his brother to know why he was betraying him.
Julius Alagwu was brutally stabbed in the stomach and neck
The argument led to a fight resulting in his brother stabbing him in the neck and stomach. His lifeless body was brought to Regina Caeli Hospital in Awka and afterwards deposited in a mortuary.
His course-mates have taken to Facebook to express sadness over the incident.
