Rosy Meurer, the Nollywood actress, has responded to the resurfaced video showing her referring to Tonto Dikeh as her family.
Recall that Tonto Dikeh was married to Olakunle Churchill who is now Rosy's husband.
Earlier, Tori News reported that Rosy had posted a video on her Instagram page, claiming she didn’t know Tonto at all and that she had never met the actress while Tonto was married to Churchill.
Rosy said she never had any feelings for Churchill at the time and that Churchill was like a brother to her and was helping her and her family before they got married.
Following this, social media users dug up an old video of Rosy calling Tonto’s family and saying she had hung out with the actress.
Now reacting to this, Rosy, in her Instagram story, claimed she was young and innocent and being dragged into something that didn’t concern her, hence the video. Now that she is older and wiser, she is speaking her real truth.
Rosy made it clear that no one can intimidate her and reemphasised that she knew about the reunion and reconciliation before it hit the internet, and that she has been 100 per cent in support.
“You want me to hang on to the nonsense old video I made years ago, where I explained all sorts of things due to the fact that I was so young and innocent.
The whole media thing was new to me, how I got dragged in wetin no concern me then, something I saw and was as lost as everyone else.
My husband, who was like a brother to me then, had to apologise to my family because he knew I knew absolutely nothing about what was said.
I was dragged into violence by force. With all the pressure, the PR team will make you say so many things, then, if you don’t feel it’s right.
Right now, whatever I say is THE REAL TRUTH.
I am older, I am wiser, and no one can intimidate me.
No PR team can force me to say what they believe will be better than my truth.
No one can control what I will say.
It is my life, and I know better than anyone else.
I’m not here to sweet-talk anyone or make anyone like me.
