Students Destroy Gov. Ajimobi's Billboard in Ibadan in Protest Against Privatisation

Public school pupils in the ancient city of Ibadan, Oyo State have attacked the the billboard of All Progressives Congress governor, Abiola Isiaka Ajimbobi over a proposal to privatize the public schools.

The protest by secondary school students in Oyo State continued yesterday as some students were seen in the state capital, Ibadan destroying an advertorial billboard of the state governor, Abiola Ajimobi.

Oyo state secondary schools students are protesting on the new educational policy in the state that will affect the change of school ownership.
 
Valid arguments have it that privatisation will make basic education financially-inacessible to the children of the masses.
