Sources disclosed to Zagagola Makama that one Joy Benson of Holland Street, Calabar, alerted the police after discovering the body of his younger brother.
Detectives were immediately deployed to the scene to assess the situation and document preliminary findings.
According to police sources, no visible marks of violence were found on the body at the time of examination, and there was no immediate indication of foul play.
The corpse was subsequently evacuated to the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital for preservation and autopsy.
Authorities say the post-mortem examination will help determine the exact cause of de@th.
The Police Command confirmed that investigations are ongoing and assured that further details would be communicated as findings emerge.
