PDP Crisis: Appeal Court Upholds Suspension Of Anyanwu, Ajibade, Others

The court upheld their suspension while also upholding the the judgement of the Federal High Court delivered by Justice James Omotosho.

 

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has upheld the suspension of several top officials of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), including former National Secretary Senator Samuel Anyanwu, Legal Adviser Kamaldeen Ajibade, Deputy Legal Adviser Okechukwu Osuoha, and National Organizing Secretary Umaru Bature.

The court upheld their suspension while also upholding the the judgement of the Federal High Court delivered by Justice James Omotosho.

Recall that the National Working Committee, NWC, of the PDP suspended Anyanwu and the others on November 1, 2025.

The appellate court on Monday upheld the October 31, 2025 Abuja Federal High Court judgment which restrained the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, from recognizing the outcome of the 2025 National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
