Cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Hospital has responded to viral reports connecting the facility to the death of Nigerian socialite, Jessica Elena, following a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure.

The controversy intensified after a disturbing video surfaced online showing a woman believed to be Jessica lying on a hospital bed and crying out in severe pain while medical workers reportedly carried out a wound dressing procedure following the surgery.
The clip sparked widespread outrage and emotional reactions across social media platforms.
However, in an official statement released via the hospital official Instagram page, Cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Hospital denied that the viral video was recorded at its facility.
In the statement dated March 10, 2026, the management said the footage being circulated online has been wrongly linked to the hospital.
According to the hospital, it does not recognize the location shown in the video and has no confirmation that the incident occurred within its premises.
The statement read in part, “Cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Hospital is aware of a video circulating on social media showing a patient screaming during a surgical procedure, which is being falsely attributed to our facility.
“We state clearly: this video was not recorded at our clinic, and we do not know the location or facility where it occurred.”
The hospital also appealed to the public to avoid spreading unverified content, noting that such circulation adds further pain to the grieving family.
While extending condolences to the family of the deceased, the management urged social media users to handle the matter with compassion and sensitivity.
The death of Jessica Elena has continued to generate conversations around the safety of cosmetic procedures such as BBL surgeries and the increasing demand for body enhancement treatments.
