Senate Picks Date To Pass 2026 Budget, Adjourns Till March 31

The decision was taken during Thursday’s plenary which was presided over by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

The Nigerian Senate has adjourned its plenary until March 31, 2026, to observe the Sallah break.

The decision was taken during Thursday’s plenary which was presided over by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

The lawmakers also agreed to pass the 2026 National Budget upon return from Sallah break on March 31.
