In a video he recorded and posted online, the comedian accused internet service providers of defrauding Nigerians.

Nigerian comedian I Go Save has publicly criticised the operations of internet service providers in the country, accusing them of exploiting subscribers through unfair data practices.

In a video shared online, the outspoken entertainer expressed frustration over what he described as a lack of regulation and accountability in the telecom sector. According to him, many Nigerians are being shortchanged despite paying for data subscriptions that do not last as promised.

Recounting his personal experience, I Go Save revealed that he had recently subscribed to a one-month data plan, only for it to be exhausted within a few hours. Questioning the rapid depletion, he sarcastically asked whether he had “downloaded a house,” stressing that such occurrences have become far too common among users.

He said: ‘’Nobody is looking into the activities of our internet service providers. It appears many of them are fraudsters.

"I just subscribed just now and I was told I subscribed for one month, WIthin few hours now it has finished. I download house? Nobody is even saying anything.

"Internet providers are defrauding Nigerians badly. How are poor people coping? No wonder people turn off their data.  You guys travel abroad. Once you have subscribed for one month,it is one month.

"It is only in Nigeria that you will subscribe for one month and within two days, your data is expired. What kind of scam is this? You guys want to k!ll us?

"Tinubu, please leave rice and face this data. Nigerians are suffering''
