A woman who had gone to the zoo for nice time hanging out got the shock of her life when one beast charged at her.

The woman sat with her back to the enclosure and a big tiger within, a wall of glass separating the two

You can take the beast out of the jungle, but you can never take the jungle out of the beast.

That was the lesson learnt by one tourist, that and to never turn you back on an apex predator, after she was chosen as the prey of a white tiger at a zoo in Russia.

Video capturing the incident starts innocently enough with a woman sat with her back to the enclosure and a big tiger within, a wall of glass separating the two.

She speaks to the camera nervously as the beast slowly edges its way closer and closer to the woman, as children can be heard giggling and chatting in the background as the animal approaches.

In an instant the tiger launches itself at the woman, its whole body rising up and planting against the barricade with a crash

With the tiger only inches away from the glass, the woman can't help but take a peek behind her to see where the predator is.

In an instant the tiger launches itself at the woman, its whole body rising up and planting against the barricade with a crash, causing the woman and the children to jump back and scream.

Luckily for the woman, a glass wall separating visitors and the massive beast holds out, despite the tiger seemingly putting its whole weight behind the attack.
