Comrade Saidu Bello Said, former publicity secretary of the ADC in Kano, has delivered a scathing prediction for the 2027 general elections, claiming President Bola Tinubu will face a crushing defeat as early as 10:00 am on election day.
President Bola Tinubu would lose the general election next year, according to Comrade Saidu Bello Said, the former publicity secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kano State.
He called on Nigerians to ensure the All Progressives Congress (APC) loses early on election day. Speaking in an interview with Daily Post, Said claimed that growing dissatisfaction with governance would shape voters’ decisions, adding that Nigerians are increasingly aware of the country’s situation and would express their views at the ballot box.
"Nigerians will never vote for Tinubu in the upcoming election," he declared. They're worn out. There is a lack of respect for democracy.
Said went on to forecast an early loss for the governing party, saying, “Tinubu will lose the election before 10:00 am. Whoever votes for Tinubu, especially in the North, will be found at the bottom of hell.”
Commenting on internal developments within the ADC in Kano following recent political realignments, including the defection of former NNPP leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, he said the party was working to reposition itself ahead of the 2027 elections.
He calims, “The party will get its house in order before 2027.”
He also criticised current economic policies, particularly the increase in fuel prices, questioning the justification for the hike.
He stated, "For instance, the price of fuel has gone up without any justification." "Nigeria's budget was set at $70, but it has grown since the recent conflict. For Nigerians, what is being done?
Said urged people to see the 2027 elections as a chance for reform, calling on them to “see 2027 as a time to save themselves from the clutches of APC”.
