American-Senegalese artist and entrepreneur Akon has stirred controversy after claiming that being involved with multiple women made his life “easier” compared to monogamous relationships.

Akon, a well-known artist and businessman, has said that having love connections with several women made his life easier. This statement has sparked heated debate about the nature of polygamy.
In an interview on the Shade Room, Akon made this statement when considering his present personal life and previous relationships.
He described being in relationships with several women as a better period than monogamy, acknowledging the ease and comfort he experienced.
He said that variety makes life easier and that having several relationships relieves pressure.
"Having several women around me made my life much easier, but being with just one woman is much harder," he remarked.
He jokingly begged not to respond when asked about his present relationship status and the number of ladies he is dating.
"I plead the fifth; it will be incriminating to answer," Akon said, utterly dodging the subject.
