Vitor Pereira, the head coach of Nottingham Forest, has praised Taiwo Awoniyi following the striker's outstanding performance against Chelsea.

The Tricky Trees shocked Chelsea 3-1 in their Premier League match at the Stamford Bridge on Monday afternoon, with Awoniyi emerging victorious.

In his 100th game for Forest, the 28-year-old scored twice.

Igor Jesus stepped up to convert the penalty after the forward was fouled inside the box in the twentieth minute.

"He provides everything. One risky player is Taiwo Awoniyi. Vavel.com cited Pereira as saying, "We know he will push the opponents' defensive line, even though he is not on the list in the Europa League."

The Nigerian international has made 14 league appearances for Forest this season, tallying four goals and one assist.

On Thursday, the Reds will play Aston Villa in the second leg of their semi-final UEFA Europa League match.
