Abaribe Dumps ADC for Labour Party in Fresh Political Shake-Up

Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe representing Abia South has reportedly left the African Democratic Congress to join the Labour Party, according to Abia Labour Party spokesperson Emenike Iroegbu.

Enyinnaya Abaribe, a senator from Abia South, left the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and joined the Labour Party (LP).

Emenike Iroegbu, the Abia State Labour Party's Publicity Secretary, revealed this event and stated that the lawmaker had formally joined the party.

Abaribe's most recent initiative adds a new phase to a political career characterized by shifting party agendas and strategic realignments.

Remember that he left the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), where he was reelected in the 2023 elections, and joined the ADC in December of last year?

The politician only served in the ADC for a few months before to the most recent action.

Currently serving his fifth term as the senator for the Abia South Senatorial District is Senator Abaribe.

The senator had not yet released a statement confirming or refuting the most recent defection when this item was filed.
