Pastor Dolapo Lawal's insistence that couples accept complete transparency, including access to passwords, before committing to marriage has sparked internet discussions. The cleric suggested that single people evaluate their partner's openness by requesting unrestricted access to their personal accounts in a now-viral message.

"Ask someone you want to marry if you want to know their password to everything you own." "Leave them if they say 'no,'" he said. "Leave them alone if they say no! Allow them to follow their own path.

Lawal questioned the reasoning of physical vulnerability without emotional and financial transparency, arguing that any relationship devoid of transparency cannot be regarded as a legitimate marriage.

"You can see my n@kedness, but you are not being honest with me? A marriage without transparency is not." What are we doing, then? "Now that's not marriage," he said. He cited Epistle to the Romans, chapter 8, verse 32, to demonstrate the degree of transparency anticipated in a marriage in order to bolster his position.

"Are you aware of what it means to be n@ked in front of someone? He said, "The way you came to this earth, someone can see your n@kedness, but they can't see your account balance."

The priest emphasized that genuine marriage symbolizes divine compassion and openness while criticizing what he called deceptive modern relationship theories.
