Kenyan cleric Julian Kyula has stirred widespread reactions after suggesting that Femi Lazarus and his wife may have been divinely led to settle in Kenya, describing the moment as significant for the nation’s spiritual landscape.

According to Reverend Julian Kyula of The Purpose Center Church in Kenya, Apostle Femi Lazarus and his spouse were chosen by God to live in Kenya.

The Reverend welcomed Pastor Femi Lazarus and his wife to Kenya in a video shared on X on Tuesday by #AsakeGRN.

Speaking on the church platform, Pastor Femi Lazarus and his spouse disclosed that they had come to acknowledge that the church was a gate rather than merely a place to hear the word.

"I came this morning with my wife and some of our pastors, and we discussed with Reverend the fresh instruction God provided to us, and he was one of the first persons I had to share that with. This morning we didn’t just come to listen to the word; we came recognising that this is not just a church but a gate.

"I told myself that if I am going to a city and Pastor Poju is there, I must see him before I do anything. This is a really important morning for us on this new chapter of our mission. But thank God you are here, someone we look up to as well as someone we hear from. He continued.

Additionally, he expressed gratitude to Reverend Julian Kyula for welcoming them and confirmed that they had come not only to hear the message but also to be flawed and fortunate.

"I think that every grace required to make a nation prosper is in the nation," he declared. Nothing is novel or special that we have brought and that’s why we have come here to receive this morning. So we want to really thank you for receiving us and we came and I have to say it in case you don’t want to do it.

In order to promote Reverend, I must speak up. This morning, we arrived to be flawed. We came to be blessed and propelled forward here, not merely to hear the word. Again, I want to thank you for having us. He said.

"I think it's okay for me to say that God has put in Apostle and his wife's heart at this season, it's okay for me to say it or not yet, to be based in Kenya," Reverend Julian Kyula responded to Pastor Femi Lazarus.

Additionally, he called this action a benefit for Kenya, stating that it is a favorable time for international voices and vessels to base themselves in Kenya.

"Kenya, Kenya, your time of favor has come," he declared. It doesn't matter whether God says this will be a basis for a week when you witness the global voices and global vessels he is utilizing in a generation. This is just as amazing, in my opinion, as Kathryn Kuhlman's announcement that she will be in Kenya this season.

"This is just as good as my brother Apostle Selman says, and if you pay attention to Apostle Selman, he says that Kenya is the country he wants to own a home in. Don't miss your visitation opportunity, Kenya. He continued.
