A prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Sani, has alleged that FCT Minister Nyesom Wike does not possess any official party documents, escalating ongoing tensions within the opposition party.

Umar Sani, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), claims that Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), does not possess any party documentation.
During an interview on Arise Television's "Morning Show" on Thursday, Sani revealed this information.
He was responding to a statement made by Wike during his media appearance on Wednesday, in which he threatened to shut any bank account or office opened by the Taminu Turaki-led group.
According to our party's constitution, the Board of Trustees, or BoT, has the authority to possess the party's records, thus Mike cannot even pretend to have them.
They made the decision to create their own Board of Directors (BoT), which is currently headed by former Senate President Adolphus Wabara and serves as the party's guardian and conscience.
"So, where does Wike have the paperwork he claims to have? He has no paperwork. Sani remarked, "He's just trying to impress Nigerians on national television."
