Afrobeats star Davido has announced plans to further his education, revealing that he will begin a Master’s programme in Political Science at a university in the United Kingdom next year.
Davido, a well-known musician from Nigeria, has disclosed his intentions to continue his education, stating that he will start a Master's program in Political Science at a UK university the following year.
In a recent livestream, the award-winning musician revealed that, contrary to expectations, he would not be pursuing his doctoral studies at Adeleke University.
He stated, "I want to do my Master's next year."
Davido said, "No, in the UK, a one-year course in political science," when asked if the program will take place at Adeleke University. I already have my B.Sc.
In keeping with many postgraduate courses in the UK, the singer, who has an undergraduate degree, stated that the program will last a year.
Fans have responded to Davido's choice to continue his education, with many applauding it as a step toward personal growth outside of his musical career.
