Edo State lawmaker and wife of music star 2Baba, Hon. Natasha Osawaru-Idibia, has officially announced her defection to the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The wife of musician 2Baba, Hon. Natasha Osawaru-Idibia, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly representing the Egor Constituency, has declared her intention to join the Nigerian Democratic Congress, or NDC.
She revealed the change when she went to the home of Senator Seriake Dickson, the national chairman of the party, to obtain her membership card and publicly identify with the platform.
In a post on her Instagram page, Osawaru-Idibia also verified the development, sharing a photo of her meeting with former Kano State Governor Rabi'u Kwankwaso and former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi.
She represents the Egor Constituency in the 8th Edo State House of Assembly and was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) prior to her defection.
