The Super Falcons' proposed training tour of the United Kingdom has fallen through after their scheduled friendly opponents, Jamaica, withdrew from the arrangement.

The tour had been planned for May 23 to 28, with the match against Jamaica intended to form a key part of the Super Falcons' preparations for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations. However, according to Savid News, the fixture was called off due to administrative difficulties on the part of the Jamaican side.

This is not the first such setback for the Super Falcons in recent weeks, as Cape Verde had also withdrawn from a planned double-header friendly with the team last month.

As a result, Justine Madugu's side will now have to wait until the next FIFA women's international window in June before they can secure another friendly fixture. Their last outing was in March, when they recorded a 3-1 victory over Cameroon's Indomitable Lionesses in Yaounde.

The Super Falcons will head to Morocco in July as defending champions, looking to retain their title at the WAFCON 2026 finals.
