All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Joe Igbokwe has declared that President Bola Tinubu was not elected to maintain the status quo, but to fundamentally restructure and revitalize Nigeria.

In a post on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, Igbokwe issued a stern warning to opposition figures, insisting that Tinubu must be allowed to pursue the mandate for which he was elected.

He cautioned that anyone who deliberately stands in the way of the president's re-election bid would face consequences for doing so.

Igbokwe stressed that the goal of electing Tinubu was to push Nigeria forward and get the country working again, and made clear that the administration has no intention of conducting business as usual.

This comes as DAILY POST reports that opposition leaders have reportedly finalized plans to unseat the president in 2027, citing his alleged failure to adequately address the economic and other crises currently facing the nation.
