A violent attack in Oyo State has left one person abducted and another injured after armed men reportedly stormed the Ago Aare area in the Oke Ogun region.

Armed kidnappers have reportedly seized one person in Oyo State, according to reports.
A group of approximately three gunmen carried out the attack, abducting one individual while leaving another wounded.
The incident took place at Ago Aare, located in the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone, on Monday evening.
The victim was subsequently identified as Wasiu Aleshinloye.
The State Police Command's spokesperson, Olayinka Ayanlade, officially confirmed the incident, stating that one person sustained injuries during the attack.
Ayanlade noted that the abduction was formally reported at the Tede Division on the 11th of May, 2026, at approximately 10:20 PM.
