Former Rivers State House of Assembly member Sir Chidi Lloyd has spoken out against what he describes as unlawful harassment of motorists by officials of the Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO) in Rivers State.
He stressed that an existing court judgment explicitly prohibits VIO officials from flagging down vehicles, seizing cars, or levying fines on road users, and called on the relevant authorities to ensure compliance with that ruling.
