Pep Guardiola has revealed that his decision to leave Manchester City comes down to exhaustion, saying he is “running out of energy” in a way he also saw with former Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp.

According to Pep Guardiola, he is quitting Manchester City because, like Jurgen Klopp, he is "running out of energy."
Guardiola confirmed his departure today, ten days after Klopp departed Liverpool in the summer of 2024.
"I feel the same way as when Jurgen Klopp left," he said to reporters. My energy is running low.
"I think I won't have the stamina needed for a game every three days, to compete for titles, and to stand in front of the players every day.
Ten years have passed.
"This job has been done every three days for a very long time. Madrid, Madrid, Anfield, Selhurst Park—I have to go on with my life now.
Ten years is a long time. The club needs fresh energy and a new manager, in my opinion. We currently have these amazing players. Write a new chapter.
