PDP Spokesperson, Olisa Metuh Finally Gets Replacement

The main opposition party in Nigeria, PDP has finally appointment a new spokesperson to replace its former image-maker, Olisa Metuh on the expiration of his tenure.

Dayo Adeyeye has been appointed as the new National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. He replaces Olisa Metuh, who had announced that he’s no longer interested in the position once his tenure expires.

Metuh is currently on trial over a N400m fraud.
 
Adeyeye was appointed on Thursday at the maiden meeting of the staff of PDP’s national secretariat and the People's Democratic Institute, PDI, with the national caretaker committee, Ahmed Makarfi. Six other persons were appointed into other portfolios.
