Actor Stan Nze has expressed strong frustration over reports of phone theft during the service of songs held in honour of late Nollywood star Alexx Ekubo, describing the situation as deeply disturbing and disrespectful to mourners.

Actor Stan Nze has expressed bitter frustration over the theft of mobile phones at the late Alexx Ekubo's service of songs, describing the incident as deeply disrespectful to those gathered to mourn.

Speaking barely 48 hours after the event held in Lekki, Lagos State, Nze lamented that more than five phones went missing during the occasion and used the incident to draw a broader lesson about the character of Nigerian citizens.

"How can you come to a service of songs where people are mourning and grieving for the late Alexx Ekubo and you steål phones? More than five phones were missing yesterday.

We are always complaining about the government, but if we chase everyone from the government, who will enter there? Still the citizens," he said.
