At the 'Must Go' protest in Abuja, social media activist Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, declared that President Bola Tinubu has failed Nigerians, citing severe insecurity and the inability of the police, military and government to protect citizens, and calling for urgent accountability.

Fresh from a trip to China, VeryDarkMan led protesters in a march near government buildings, with demonstrators chanting 'B@ndits must go' and demanding decisive action on kidn@ppings and violence ravaging states including Oyo, Katsina and Zamfara.

Ratel Movement leaders Jojo of Lagos and Koko Pee also confronted officers in camouflage during the demonstration, describing politicians as "slave masters" and warning that tear gas affects everyone's children. No gas was fired, no arrests were made and no injuries were reported.

The Ratel Movement, symbolised by the fierce honey badger, continues to push for government accountability amid a surge in b@ndit att@cks that have claimed dozens of lives and left hundreds abducted this year.

The protest proceeded peacefully towards Banex Junction.
