The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise.

In a statement on Tuesday, JAMB's Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, announced that candidates who sat the exercise can now check their results through the Board's established result-checking channels.

He said that following the successful conclusion of the mop-up exercise and release of results, the Board would proceed to rank candidates, after which printing of results for admission purposes is expected to begin before the weekend.

Benjamin expressed appreciation for the patience and cooperation shown by candidates and stakeholders throughout the process.

The mop-up examination was held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, offering a final opportunity for candidates who had been biometrically verified for the main UTME but were unable to sit the exam due to technical glitches, biometric issues, or other disruptions at examination centres.

The main 2026 UTME took place between April 16 and April 25, 2026.
