Peter Obi has stirred nationwide attention after unveiling what many describe as a firm and uncompromising approach to tackling insecurity.

Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has declared that as president, he would extend peace to those who seek it and meet hostility with hostility from those who choose war.
Obi made this known on Tuesday during an online interview, where he spoke on how he intends to tackle insecurity if elected Nigeria's president.
According to him, his administration would prioritize dialogue and negotiation with anyone willing to embrace peace, while those determined to wage war would be confronted accordingly.
He stressed that those willing to join in building a new Nigeria are welcome to do so, but warned that those who choose otherwise would bear the consequences of their actions.
Obi further stated that the time has come for honesty among Nigerians, adding that his government would ensure inclusiveness, with no one left behind, and that love and care would be extended to all citizens.
