The Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN, for Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, has once again called on United States President Donald Trump to intervene in what he described as a calculated genocide aimed at wiping out Christians from the state.

The cleric made the appeal during the mass burial of 22 victims k!ll3d by b@ndits in an att@ck on Kawel village in Mushere Chiefdom of Bokkos LGA, stressing that the k!lling of the villagers including prominent men of God was not a coincidence but a systematic genocide against Christians in the state.

He also shared the appeal on his social media handle.

Dachomo warned that any further delay in international intervention would leave Christians in the state, particularly those in rural communities, increasingly vulnerable to att@cks and systemic massacre.

Delivering a solemn sermon at the mass burial on Thursday, the visibly heartbroken cleric said:

"There is genocide of Christians in Nigeria, and that is the plain truth.

That is why I keep calling on President Trump to intervene. Any further delay will see Christians completely wiped out from Plateau State."

He continued: "Today, I raise my voice for countless Christians in Nigeria who have lost loved ones, homes, and communities to violence.

Whether one agrees with the term genocide or not, the suffering of many Christian communities is real and cannot be ignored.

The world must know what is happening, and the international community cannot continue to remain silent in the face of human suffering.

Every life matters, and every victim deserves justice, protection, and a voice."

Dachomo also affirmed the right of every human being to life and lawful self-defence, calling not for hatred or revenge but for justice, security, accountability, and lasting peace.

Reflecting on the pain of conducting the burial, he said: "Today was one of the most painful days of my ministry.

With tears in my eyes and a heavy heart, I stood before 22 coffins as I conducted the mass burial of our brothers and sisters in Christ who were brutally k!ll3d on the night of June 21 in Kawel, Mushere, Bokkos LGA of Plateau State."

He described the anguish of looking upon grieving families widows, orphaned children, and parents burying their own and insisted that the 22 d£ceased were not mere statistics but fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, and faithful members of their faith community.

"How many more innocent Christians must be buried before the world hears our cries?

How many more tears must be shed before peace returns to our communities?" he asked, directing pointed questions at those in authority over the continued failure to protect vulnerable communities.

He closed with a prayer, expressing faith that God would draw near to every grieving family and grant them strength beyond human understanding.
