Nigerian star Zlatan Ibile, an alumnus of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) who studied there around 2011 to 2012, headlined the "Symbol of Hope Homecoming" free concert at his alma mater's Sports Centre yesterday, an event that drew massive crowds between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

He shared stories about his humble beginnings and brought a supportive former schoolmate onstage to loud cheers from the crowd.

He also performed alongside Small Doctor and Carter Efe, with surprise appearances from Mayorkun and Peruzzi, while his mentor Olamide praised the gesture in an online post.

Students described it as the wildest campus show of the year, calling it a reminder of resilience in his journey from being a church drummer to becoming a global Afrobeats icon.
