A police officer with an academic background has reportedly lost his life in a tragic road incident in Enugu State.

A Police Inspector, Dr. Obodo Paul Ikechukwu, has reportedly l0st his life following a tragic road accident allegedly involving a police convoy in Enugu State.
The late officer, who hailed from Nkpologu in Enugu State, was attached to the Operations Department of the Enugu State Police Headquarters prior to the incident.
Although the exact circumstances surrounding the cr@sh have not been officially confirmed, sources indicated that Dr. Obodo sustained fatal inj*ries after reportedly being hit by a vehicle said to be part of a police convoy.
Beyond his policing career, Dr. Obodo was also a PhD holder and was widely regarded by colleagues and associates as a committed and hardworking officer.
The Enugu State Police Command is yet to release an official statement on the incident, and authorities are expected to provide further details as investigations continue.
