Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has said he would still have found his way into the entertainment industry even if music had not worked out for him.
Speaking during a recent interview, the singer revealed that his passion for show business would likely have steered him toward running a record label or media company rather than performing.
He explained that he could see himself owning a label or media house, given his lifelong love for entertainment, adding that even if he had ended up working in his father's office, he would probably have run a side business such as a music label simply out of passion for music.
The Grammy-nominated artist also disclosed that he holds a degree in Business Management and believes he could have pursued a corporate career had circumstances required it.
He joked that with his degree, he could easily apply for a job at a bank, insisting that he genuinely has the qualifications and a résumé to back it up.
Davido rose to fame in 2012 following the release of "Dami Duro," the second single from his debut album, "Omo Baba Olowo."
