A Nollywood actor has responded to a growing debate online, choosing respect over rivalry.

Actor Uzor Arukwe has dismissed comparisons between himself and fellow actor Gabriel Afolayan, saying both are talented in their own right and should not be pitted against each other.
The debate started after a social media user asked fans to choose the more versatile actor between Arukwe and Afolayan.
Reacting to the post, Arukwe praised Afolayan's talent and expressed great respect for his colleague, insisting there was no basis for comparing them.
He said there should be no comparison between him and his colleague, describing them both as talented actors in their own right and stating that he would always respect Afolayan's talent.
