Chairman of Badagry Local Government, Mr Babatunde Hunpe, has ordered restrictions on the placement of flex banners, posters, and similar advertising materials at the Badagry International Roundabout.

Hunpe told the News Agency of Nigeria in an interview on Friday in Lagos that the measure was part of the administration's ongoing efforts to decongest and reorganise the roundabout, noting that it would also improve visibility for motorists, prevent obstruction of traffic signs, and maintain the aesthetic and structural integrity of one of Badagry's busiest gateway corridors.

The chairman advised individuals, groups, and organisations to seek appropriate approval from the local government before erecting any banner or signage within the roundabout axis, warning that materials placed in violation of the order would be removed by enforcement teams, with violators facing possible sanctions.

He added that the local government appreciates the cooperation of residents, traders, and stakeholders in keeping the Badagry International Roundabout safe, orderly, and presentable.
