Popular social commentator, Isaac Fayose, says he remains a firm supporter of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, despite maintaining cordial ties with some supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Fayose disclosed this in a post on his official Facebook page on Thursday, after revealing that he had met with Seyi Tinubu, businessman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, and other celebrities the previous night.
He explained that his friendship with supporters of President Tinubu does not influence his political stance, insisting that he remains fully committed to Obi's candidacy.
He said he spent quality time with Seyi Tinubu, Cubana Chief Priest and others following his interview online, recalling that Seyi walked him to his car afterward and that the two shared a moment of prayer together, both for the President and for themselves.
Fayose maintained that he holds no ill will toward Tinubu, describing his relationship with his APC-aligned friends as one built on mutual respect despite differing political choices, noting that they accept his decision to campaign and vote for his preferred candidate, Peter Obi, without it affecting their bond.
He said politics, for him, is practised without hatred, reaffirming that he remains fully in support of Obi's presidential bid.
