TikTok star Jarvis has opened up about the realities of preparing for marriage, urging young Nigerians to make careful financial decisions before tying the knot.

Nigerian TikTok creator Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, has offered marital advice ahead of her white wedding to fellow TikTok personality Peller.
The influencer urged Nigerian youths against succumbing to pressure to marry before attaining financial stability, advising couples planning weddings to consider spreading their traditional and white ceremonies across different years as a way of cutting costs.
Speaking during a recent livestream, she cautioned against getting married without adequate finances, but suggested that couples could ease the burden by holding their traditional wedding in one year and their white wedding the following year.
She revealed that she and Peller had almost postponed their own wedding, noting that no amount of time, even decades, would have made them feel fully prepared for it.
It will be recalled that Peller and Jarvis recently announced that their white wedding is scheduled for August 1, 2026, having held their traditional wedding in Benin City, Edo State, last month.
