Nigerian comedian Funnybone has opened up about his decision to keep his family away from public attention despite his fame.

Nigerian comedian and actor, Chibunna Stanley, popularly known as Funnybone, has explained why he keeps his wife and children out of the public eye on social media.
Speaking on a recent episode of The Moraya Show, Funnybone said he prefers to keep his personal life private rather than showcase his family online.
When asked whether he was married, he confirmed being married with two children, and when pressed on why he doesn't share more of his family life publicly as fans might expect from a celebrity.
He explained that in a world where people often fixate on what doesn't concern them, it is safer to keep one's personal life private, noting that while he is known as Funnybone on stage and in public, he remains simply Chibunna at home.
Speaking on the future of the Nigerian comedy industry, Funnybone said the goal is to eventually export the craft globally, adding that achieving this would require a shift in how comedy is produced, packaged and marketed within the country's creative ecosystem.
