Popular fashion designer Veekee James has shared an emotional story about the woman who shaped her journey, revealing the personal choices and sacrifices her mother made while raising the family alone.

Celebrity fashion designer Veekee James has opened out passionately about the sacrifices her mother made following her father's death, sharing how she chose to raise her kids above getting married again.
She described her mother as a woman who prioritized her children over all else and stated in a recent interview that she had never seen her date another man after losing her husband.
The designer claims that their pastor asked her mother if she planned to get married again soon after her father passed away, but she said she wanted to concentrate on raising her kids.
My mother has never dated a man before. My mom has never left the house since my dad passed away, except it's for night vigil.
My pastor asked whether mom wanted to get married again after my dad passed away, and she replied no. She said, "She wanted to look after us, her children.
Veekee James also disclosed that her mother put in a lot of overtime in Ajegunle to support the family, taking on tailoring jobs to make sure her kids had everything they needed.
The single mother went on to say that in addition to teaching her how to tailor, her mother also instilled ideals in her that have guided her throughout her life and profession.
In Ajegunle, my mother worked extremely hard. She produced clothing for a large number of individuals. She told me not to follow guys and taught me how to tailor," she continued.
The fashion entrepreneur acknowledged that her mother's perseverance, self-control, and diligence helped shape the woman she is today and that those life lessons still motivate her.
