Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has shared a deeply personal account of the painful period that affected his life and career.

Actor Hanks Anuku revealed how his life and work were impacted by his partner's passing.
After being spotted in a disturbed state multiple times, he revealed this amid new worries about his mental health and wellbeing.
The actor was seen receiving deliverance at an Abuja church a few days after the video went viral.
But in a video posted on social media a few days after the deliverance, the actor said that the loss of both his spouse and his children's mother had left him emotionally broken and unable to move on.
Emphasising the trauma he had experienced, Hanks explained that he withdrew from people and isolated himself during that period.
He said many people were familiar with his story and might have seen accounts of his experiences online, noting that he had been through several traumatic situations.
He recalled losing the mother of his children, whom he had intended to marry, describing how close they had been and how deeply her passing affected him, as she was the mother of his daughter and son.
He said that before receiving deliverance, he had felt weighed down, heavy and uncomfortable, but now feels light and renewed following the prayers, describing an overwhelming sense of joy, laughter and dancing that had returned to his life.
He added that he had wanted to become a better version of himself, admitting he had been misled until he experienced what he described as a spiritual encounter that led him into deliverance, healing and divine comfort.
