Afrobeat icon Femi Kuti has sparked reactions after a playful moment with dancer Korra Obidi, where he jokingly tried to avoid anything that could trigger online controversy.

Musician Femi Kuti has said he would rather stay out of any online controversy involving celebrity dancer Korra Obidi, humorously declining to take pictures with her alone after a live concert in Lagos.
It would be recalled that Kuti's reaction followed an earlier controversy surrounding Korra Obidi's dance tribute at Fela Kuti's gravesite during her visit in December 2025.
Speaking in a video shared by Korra on her social media page on Friday, Femi Kuti explained that he already has enough problems on his plate and does not need unnecessary drama in his life.
Calling on his elder sister, Yeni Kuti, to join the picture to avoid any controversy, he joked that even the gods seemed unwilling to allow the photo, noting jokingly that it had started raining.
Captioning the video, Korra wrote that "Uncle Femi" did not want any trouble, adding that she felt honoured to have met the two legends at Legacy Studios after her private live concert the previous day.
