A woman and her lover have been given the embarrassment of their lives after her husband allegedly found out her cheating ways.
The shocking video allegedly captures the moment an angry husband ties up his wife and her lover after discovering she cheated on him.
In the footage, the woman is seen bound by her wrists and tied to a wooden post in a village thought to be located somewhere in north India.
A man appears to hit her repeatedly with a whip as she cries out in fear. He then moves across to a second pillar where the man is tied up, before also beating him with the same weapon.
Onlookers, including children, can be seen watching in the background
The video was posted by activist Kundan Srivastava, according to Deccan Chronicle.
He said the clip had been posted to him by a follower.
The clip has now gone viral on the social media site after being viewed more than 81,300 times.
It is not clear whether the video is being investigated by police or whether the man and woman were injured in the incident.
