Former Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, has filed a N500 million lawsuit against Carter Efe after he claimed to have slept with her.

An online news platform reports that the online dispute between the two streamers began when Davido's personal streamer, Davrel, claimed that Carter Efe had told him Phyna was "of no benefit." Phyna responded by calling Davrel out over an unpaid debt.

The public exchange escalated when Davrel accused Phyna of making sexual advances towards him, further claiming that she had also asked him to introduce her to his father.

During a subsequent confrontation with Carter Efe captured in a video shared online, Carter admitted to having had a sexual relationship with her.

When Phyna asked him directly whether they had slept together, Carter confirmed it was true and said he would bring forward all the evidence.

Phyna responded by thanking him and warning that both he and Davrel would be hearing from her lawyer.

Apologising to her fans in a live video shared online on Thursday night, Phyna informed the public that Davrel and Carter Efe had since been served legal papers.

She acknowledged that many people felt she had lost her self-respect, admitting that she had put herself down considerably and had come to accept that this criticism held some truth.

She said the events of the past few days had forced a shift in her, explaining that while she had endured many kinds of public criticism, there were two forms she could not tolerate, one being the widely known issue, and the other being anything of a sexual nature involving a man, stressing that this was not how she conducted herself.

She said that since she began streaming, she had tried to follow the conventional approach other streamers use, but that it had repeatedly exposed her to disrespect, and that the recent incident would be the last time she allowed herself to be treated that way.

She said this marked the end of the version of her that stayed playful and accommodating with everyone or resorted to online rants whenever she felt wronged, adding that she was finally choosing to pursue legal channels instead, noting that in hindsight.

She rarely goes looking for conflict, but that her own reactions often end up overshadowing the original wrongdoing and unfairly placing the blame on her.

She then confirmed that Carter Efe and Davrel had both been served via email and WhatsApp.

Confirming the development in a separate video, Carter Efe announced that he had been sued for N500 million.
