A primary school teacher has left his community members in great shock after he brutally beheaded his wife in their home.
A shocking incident has left people in Mt Elgon area of Kenya perplexed after a primary school teacher who has always been in domestic fight with his wife beheaded her in their home on Sunday before running away.
According to News24, the lifeless body of the deceased woman was found on Monday morning by neighbours in her house near Kapsokwony town.
Police revealed that her neck had nearly been decapitated and the room she was in was flooded with blood. A blood-stained machete was found next to her body.
The husband, a primary school teacher, who it is said often had domestic rows with his spouse, was nowhere to be found and a man-hunt for him has been launched.
"We are looking for the suspect. He can run but can not hide," John Onditi, the Mt Elgon OCPD confirmed the incident.
