A major police crackdown in Kaduna has led to multiple arrests and the recovery of weapons, suspected fake foreign currency, and other valuable items.

The Kaduna State Police Command says it has arrested 19 suspects in connection with alleged kidn@pping and illegal firearms possession.
Speaking at a press briefing in Kaduna on Tuesday, the state's Commissioner of Police, Rabiu Muhammad, said the operation resulted in the k!lling of notorious kidn@ppers, alongside the recovery of ten firearms.
He disclosed that over a two-week period, operatives recovered 190 stolen solar inverters valued at N69 million, 410 rustled cattle, 83 packs of hard drugs, 32 mobile phones, and two plasma television sets.
According to him, 170 counterfeit US dollar notes were also seized during the various operations.
"Within the two weeks under review, the Kaduna State Police Command neutralised notorious kidn@ppers, arrested sixteen suspected kidn@ppers, and apprehended six suspects found with one hundred and seventy pieces of counterfeit dollar notes," the commissioner said.
"Three suspected gun-runners were also arrested, as operatives recovered ten firearms of different calibres, one hundred and ninety solar inverters worth N69 million, one stolen vehicle, eighty-three packs of hard drugs, thirty-two stolen phones, two plasma televisions, and four hundred and ten cattle recovered during various operations."
He added that a 20-year-old woman, Aisha Barau, was arrested in Ramin Kura Village while allegedly attempting to exchange counterfeit US dollar notes for naira.
Muhammad said the woman claimed the fake currency had been supplied to her by two men, who have since been arrested in connection with the syndicate.
