The Nigeria Immigration Service has assured the public that passport service delivery nationwide remains uninterrupted notwithstanding the recent consolidation of additional passport processing branches into the Central Personalization Centre.
The service characterised the migration as a strategic operational enhancement intended to elevate passport production standards and security protocols rather than as a disruption to existing service architecture.
Passport applicants retain access to their designated local offices for biometric data capture without service interruption. Individuals can proceed to their neighbourhood centres to complete biometric enrolment processes seamlessly.
The centralised production framework has been implemented to conform to international security benchmarks, expedite processing cycles, and fortify the integrity of Nigerian passports.
The service confirmed that biometric capturing facilities throughout the country remain fully operational and that passport booklet production and distribution are progressing within established delivery schedules.
