Security forces have recorded a significant breakthrough in ongoing counter-terrorism operations after uncovering alleged support networks linked to insurgents.

Military personnel conducting Operation HADIN KAI have detained four individuals suspected of facilitating logistics supply networks for Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorist organisations during coordinated intelligence-driven operations across Borno and Yobe States.
In Geidam, Yobe State, two suspects were apprehended whilst allegedly distributing controlled substances and operational supplies to Boko Haram combatants.
Security forces recovered cannabis, mobile telephones, power banks, cutting implements, torches, Pregabalin tablets, currency, and related materials.
In a concurrent operation in Monguno, Borno State, two additional suspects were arrested on allegations of transporting food provisions and consumables intended for ISWAP terrorist personnel.
Recovered items included biscuits, powdered milk, sugar, granulated cassava flour, soap, headlamps, ignition devices, phones, amulets, herbal preparations, and currency.
Military operatives additionally apprehended 20 individuals identified as family members of the terrorist collective Jama'atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda'awati wal-Jihad who were reportedly fleeing their territorial base following intensified military campaigning.
The detainees have been transferred to military intelligence units for identification and assessment procedures.
The Nigerian Army restated its determination to maintain sustained operational pressure on terrorist organisations and urged members of the general public to furnish substantive intelligence supporting ongoing counter-t3rrorism initiatives.
